With over 20 years of industry experience, James is adept at navigating complex commercial transactions, and providing valuable guidance to his clients. His expertise and deep understanding of commercial financing spans multiple asset classes, including retail, office, industrial, and multi-family. James is also well versed with land development and construction financing.

Prior to becoming a Commercial Mortgage Broker (2019), James spent several years at a Big Five Bank in their Commercial Banking Division. He successfully managed a senior portfolio of real estate developers and mid-market operators, for well over a decade.

Throughout his career, James has built an extensive network within Ontario's commercial lending industry. This network allows him to consistently meet his clients' needs, in a timely, efficient and professional manner.

James's achievements as a Broker are noteworthy, including Masters Club (2019 and 2020), Presidents Club (2021), Elite Club (2022), and multiple nominations for Commercial Broker of the Year (2023/24). 

James has facilitated over $1 billion in commercial loans during his career.

James holds a degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario, and is a member of MPC (Mortgage Professionals Canada).
